A dog story, above all else.

It all started with Guts. My dog. Not really a lightning-bolt revelation, more like years of tiny frustrations piling up. That hesitation in front of a busy café, that slightly awkward moment when you crack the door open, poke your head in and try to catch a waiter's eye to ask, from the threshold, whether you can come in with a dog. Sometimes yes. Often no. Sometimes nobody replies and you just leave. I missed some lovely shops, some perfectly placed terraces, some great addresses, just because I didn't know.

The solution was actually simple: businesses that welcome dogs just needed to say so clearly. A sign in the window. A listing in a directory. Nothing complicated, just visibility for everyone. That's how dogs-friendly.fr was born: a sticker to put on your door, and a map to find them easily. So you never have to crack open a door hoping for the best again.

The dogs on the stickers aren't generic illustrations from a stock library. They're real dogs, Guts, Wilson, Vashkyrie, each one belongs to someone. That's intentional. This project is about real outings, real discoveries, real life with a dog. It should show, even in the tiniest details.
